I’ve accepted the challenge of raising money for Isabel’s House, Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks the fun way: a 1 in 10 chance of getting a Cake to the Face. The answer is easy! You’ll be hard pressed to find a child that asks to be separated from their parents. It’s even harder to image the anxiety, fear, and uncertainty that occurs within a child after they are separated due to a family crisis. The thing that brings me PEACE is knowing there are organizations like Isabel’s House to welcome children with love and safety. If our Board makes a positive impact on 1 child, I will deem my time with the Board a success. I can ensure you though, that we won’t stop with one child!
