A Message From Emily Christopher
I’ve accepted the challenge of raising money for Isabel’s House, Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks the fun way: a 1 in 10 chance of getting a Cake to the Face. Want to see me get a Cake to the Face for Isabel’s House? Make a donation by clicking donate on the right hand side of the page. If I receive the highest amount of donations out of the other nine participants, I get a Cake to the Face the evening of THE Summer Party on Thursday, August 11th. All donations made go directly to helping Isabel’s House meet its mission of providing immediate assistance to children and families when they need it most.
Work: Sales and Marketing Director at The Waterford at Ironbridge/Sonida Senior Living
Favorite Kind of Cake: Coconut
Why I support Isabel's House: My background is in nursing. I spent several years in pediatric nursing where I have witnessed the devastation of child abuse and neglect. Isabel's house provides a home-like and safe environment for children while also providing education and resources to families. I absolutely love how the focus is on making a change for the children and families in our community. We are stronger together. Prevention is power and there is power in numbers.

In Support of Isabel's House
By partnering with families and the community, we prevent child abuse and neglect and strengthen families. Since 2007, Isabel’s House has served and provided local families in the Ozarks with round-the-clock care for children and support for parents facing domestic violence, homelessness, unsafe housing, mental health concerns, and other dire circumstances.
While children are provided love and care by our team of Child Advocates, our team of Family Advocates partners with parents/caregivers to create a specific plan geared towards their situation to ensure correct connections and resources are provided to address the crisis, strengthen the family, and eradicate child abuse and neglect.
